I didn’t start Texcoval because I wanted to build another energy company. I started it because I believed the way energy was being distributed could be better.

My interest in transforming the energy sector started long before Texcoval.

As a young student of Mechanical Engineering, and later during my industrial training in Rivers State, I became increasingly curious about how energy moved from infrastructure to the people who ultimately depended on it. I could see gaps in the way energy was distributed, processes that felt outdated, fragmented, and heavily dependent on manual operations.

At the time, I didn’t know what the solution was. I only knew that there had to be a better way.

After graduating, I began my career at Oknate Energies, where I gained my first substantial exposure to the energy industry. Working within the sector allowed me to move beyond what I had learned in the classroom and understand the realities of energy infrastructure, LPG operations, and distribution from the inside.

That experience eventually led me deeper into the LPG industry, including working around gas plants and participating in the development of our first skid at Texcoval.

But the more I understood the industry, the clearer the problem became.

The challenge was not simply producing or supplying energy. It was how efficiently, transparently, and intelligently that energy reached the end user.

That realization became the foundation for Texcoval.

Today, Texcoval is an energy-tech company building software and connected technologies to make energy distribution more intelligent. Through our IoT smart metering, digital gas tokenization, and energy logistics software, we are beginning to connect the physical energy infrastructure with the digital systems needed to make distribution more efficient, measurable, and accessible.

What we have built so far is only the beginning of our rollout.

Our ambition is much bigger: to contribute to the transformation of how energy is distributed across Africa by combining technology, data, connected infrastructure, and intelligent software.

But Texcoval is only one part of what drives me.

Outside my work in energy technology, I am passionate about education and finding practical ways to help children return to the classroom and have access to opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives.

For me, building companies and creating social impact are not separate missions.

Texcoval is my contribution to building a better energy system, one that is more connected, transparent, and accessible.
